VMK is gone.

I had all day to play today, I had finished homework at school and stuff. I got home and scrambled around to fix the computers for me and my sister.

The actual daytime wasn't that heavy, we celebrated birthdays and found out where to meet each other. I thought I was gonna be okay because I had all my closest friends around me all day in VMK.

But evening got closer and closer and the mood got a lot more... forboding, I guess. We tried to get videos and pictures and stuff, and we got all stressed out trying to get all the memories in pictures, but after a while we all resigned to just hanging out like we normally do.

When it hit 9 PM, one hour away from closing, everyone got the "this is goodbye" feeling. I wasn't crying yet, but I almost did when one of my friends made one of my VMK dreams come true. I had wanted the Jack Sparrow outfit for two years now, and she came up to me at about 9:30 PM and said "I have something for you." We traded, and when the Sparrow outfit showed up in the trade boxes, I literally squealed and wanted to hug her through the screen. I thanked her endlessly and hugged her just as many times. My other friend came up to me about ten minutes later and she told me she had always wanted Sparrow too, so I gave her my outfit. I think her reaction made giving the outfit away worth it and much more. I thought I wouldn't cry, that that would make my night.

But every night there's a "ten minutes to closing" notice that pops up. It popped up tonight and I realized, "this is the last time I'll ever see this." At that point I broke down and I sobbed (and I'm still sobbing). The game ended really laggy, but I got to hug all my friends. I think I really went into hysterics when VMK sent us each a letter thanking us.

...so here I am now, shirt all wet, and I can't bring myself to go on Club Penguin to see my friends again because I'm so upset.
